Notice the rock face looming ahead, with jagged boulders jutting out. 

Each of these stone steps looks too high to get onto, and the summit looks impossible to reach.

Stop for a moment.

When you focus on aching muscles or sadness, you miss my message. Don’t let the path ahead overwhelm you. I am already using my people to help you on this journey.

Set aside your own desires and listen: others are praying for you.

Others are praying for you.

I hear their appeals, and I embrace their love. You can, too.

Feel the warm caress of my love and their love. Let this day be one of sweet music of intercession.

Rest in the pillow of prayerful love and concern.

You will climb soon. I’m sending help.

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.
