Remember the floods you’ve seen? Slashing waters destroying river banks, brush, and tall trees. Impossible to restore. Or so it seems.

Now you’ve been hit by a slashing flood that has ripped your heart.

You want the before. You want the damage erased and the pain to stop.

Even after a roaring flood, devastation can be reversed. Someone must lift fallen trees and repairs ripped banks. It takes time.

Your heart also needs repairs. It takes time.

Those fallen places will be restored through my word, through your prayers, through the kindness of others.

Your scars will always remind you of the wild flood that ripped your life apart. Flood damage is always apparent to those who know.

But restoration is possible.

I will restore.

Trust me.

The river will run again.

He heals the brokenhearted
and bandages their wounds.
